All-star without Maddie? This will be way different. Last year, I got into cheerleading way more than I already was & the first cheerleader to pop up was Maddie. I watched Senior Elite’s CNN video & I fell in love with this sport way more than I already did. Maddie taught me to set high goals for yourself. She taught me be the best you can be. She was the first cheerleader outside of Twisters I ever saw & she automatically became my favorite. Of course, I love Kelcie & Erica & Jamie but Maddie made the biggest impact on me. Before I got hurt, at my privates, when I was ready to give up, I asked myself if Maddie would. Would she give up? Would she quit? No. She wouldn’t. Next season will be completely different. It will be hard to see the person who inspires me gone. But I’ll always stand behind Maddie. I have never met her, but I have a poster of all the best pictures on my wall I made & I look to that as the cheerleader I want to be. She was the biggest inspiration to me & knowing this is her last year makes me want to cry. Maddie will continue to inspire me everyday. Because I want to be like her. One of the best cheerleaders in the country. Someone others look up to. That’s why I love Maddie.
